i am Juls. frustrated and fascinated with lot of bits-and-pieces of things. my dreams makes me motivated everyday. My life is full of catalyst and looking forward to travel the world and envisage the wonders that God created.
I smudged my face on my photo up there, signifying how scatterbrained I am.
One of my dreams is to travel the world while I’m still young.. And this dream started in SINGAPORE!

At NAIA 1

I arrived at airport 4 hours before the flight. The airport was not well ventilated and as what I have observed, it should be renovated soon.

Departing

The flight lasted for three and a half hours…

Arriving at Changi Airport

Beyond question, Changi is one of the best airports to stay in. It has a very forefront interior making a very refreshing ambiance. I just wish the staff should be more accommodating and polite.
We arrived at Changi around 10:00am and got my money changed there as well.

Mr. Tour Guide

Kuya Kim is in the house! just kiddin. Mr. Ken Fu was our tourist guide and he’s as smart as Kuya Kim. Funny how he comes beside you from out of nowhere without even noticing and will just talk random facts about SG.. it’s very hard to interrupt when he already start talking though it was fun cracking jokes with him at intervals .
=======================================================
Touring around Singapore, Singapore

We rode the bus and knock-around the city. I was impressed how discipline the people are— very evident on clean surroundings and smooth traffic flow.. I wonder what are their penalties for not abiding the law, probably it’s frightening enough for the people to be that well trained.
=======================================================
China Town

We went inside the complex to look for something to eat. I bought chicken curry for SD1.50 which tasted not so different from the one we have in the Philippines.
=======================================================
Merlion Park

just messing around with the Marina Bay Sands Casino and Merlion :)
A bit fall flat with Merlion cuz I thought it was as huge as a five-storey building or even bigger. Apparently, I was wrong.

with Friends

Wall’s
Wall’s or in the Philippines, it’s Selecta— the name varies depending on what country you’re in. It’s my first time to see an ice cream bar with waffle biscuits. I bought the chocolate one which tasted real good. Its sweetness is just enough for my tastebuds and knowing the weather in SG is hot, it doesn’t melt easily til the last bite.
=======================================================
Little India

We had a short walk around little India..

(Feb 2, 2012)
Seminar

Had seminar at Microsoft Center Technology. The speakers were Mr. Kim Cheng Lei, Ms. Kim Rubbo and Mr. Gerard Chua who discussed about Windows Phone, IT jobs & certifications, and Cloud Computing respectively. We were one of the first few people who have seen their Data Centers which by the way has an environment-friendly way of maintaining it.
=======================================================
Universal Studios

Visiting Universal Studios was my most awaited event on our visit in SG. We had a lot of photo op sessions. Burst into laughter seeing our waggish faces in a photo riding roller coaster. My fave rides are ”Battlestar Galactica”, ”The Mummy” and ”Transformers The Ride”. The good feeling my friends and I shared is indescribable and wishing that this will happen again. I bought Mug and keychain as souvenirs.

(Feb 3, 2012)
Science Centre Singapore

Went to Science Centre Singapore for Roborobo Seminar. We formed teams with 3 to 4 members each.. Jayson and Kim were my teammates. Every team built their own robots and programmed it to move left-right and back-forth using a remote control. We designed our robot to move a bottle from one place to another, not knowing we will have a game right after. The objective of the game was to place the two bottles of water at the center of the table. Luckily, while we’re playing against the other team, the wheels of their robot disassembled. The same thing happened on our second match. Because we lacked the time, the speaker came to a close with three winners— our team is one of them. Subsequently, we roamed around the museum and watched the tesla coil presentation.
=======================================================
Singapore Flyer

Had an half hour ride in the biggest Ferris Wheel in the world for SD29.00. Yes, it’s expensive but twas really worth it. They say you can see the overview of Malaysia but how the hey can we locate it?
=======================================================
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*> Day 4<~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*
(Feb 4, 2012)
Bugis

Went to Bugis to buy pasalubong. I bought wrist-watches and shirts for my family.
Lunch

We rode the wrong bus and lost our way to Orchard so we decided first to eat in a japanese resto inside the mall and met Precy Herran. She’s a filipina helper who is native from Iloilo.
=======================================================
Orhcard

I was already worn-out when we got to Orchard. My feet felt soared and all i want to do is rest. I can’t even remember the what-for of going there. Have seen and eaten Wall’s again, I bought mocha flavor that time around.
=======================================================
Starbucks

Decided to have snack/dinner in Starbucks. We got a free frap for buying tumbler.

Changi Airport

I know this day is inevitable and a bit sad about it. Went to airport 4 hours before the flight. Still exhausted from the day we went shopping so I just slept the whole flight. We arrived at NAIA 1 around 6:00 in the morning.
